Papa John's Daycare!!

This weekend was my Work Christmas party. We had the kids stay the night at Papa and Grandma F's house. Not only were they both there, but both of their cousins Mallory and Marletta were there as well. Below are some pictures of their stay. Thanks for watching the munchkins!!

Happy 4th Birthday Big C!!!!!

Today is Big C's 4th Birthday!! Wow, I can't believe it's already been 4 years. They get so big so fast. All Big C wanted for his birthday was a Wii...(he calls it the boxing game)..J and I bought one about two months ago, and have been dying to give it to him...Since last night was close enough to his actual birthday, (today), we decided to let him open it a couple hours early. Below is a video of Big C opening his Birthday gift.

Congrats TJ and Suann

This weekend J and I were invited to the Heavisides wedding. TJ is an old friend of J's from high school. It was a beautiful wedding and we were so happy to attend. Our very good friends the Hunt's and Douglas's were also there, so it was so nice that we all could be out together. Below are some pictures that I took!!

TO THE CUBS GAME WE WENT

This weekend J and I, were able to go up to Chicago with our very Best Friends Matt and Kylee Hunt. Of course we went to watch the Cubbies and Cardinals play. J and Matt are both huge Cub Fans, but Kylee and I are loyal Cardinal fans. I can't tell you how many times we had to explain that at the game..Below are some pictures that we took at the game...(It was crazy there)!!

1st BIG BOO BOO!!

This weekend my sister Lindsey and her family came home. Big C loves when his cousin's get to come home (all of them) and he loves to play the wii at Grandma's house. This time was no different except we experienced our first BIG BOO BOO.


Big C was playing the Baseball game when he was running around trying to hit the ball. He slipped and hit the corner of his eye right on Grandma's fireplace. I thought at first we might have to go to the hospital for some sewing up, but after a night of waiting, it wasn't as deep as we all thought. VERY CLOSE CALL!! I must say he was pretty tough about the whole thing!! My heart just broke when I saw his face. Not only that, but like I said, he has never really been hurt before.


Oddly enough, his mother (The Biggest C) had the same thing happen to her at her grandma's house when she was a little girl. Fireplace and all!!! Now we will both have matching scars.

FALL IS HERE!!!

FALL IS HERE, FALL IS HERE!!!!! I don't know if you know this or not, but Fall is my favorite time of year!!!! Sweaters, Pumpkins, Football, Chili, Leafs...my gosh..what is there not to LOVE!!!!

Well, I bet you have been getting sick and tired of Tummy Time!!! As you may have noticed, I have not had a chance to blog in a while...I tell you what..Two children..WOW.....I'm lucky to get a shower..It seems like that is the highlight of my day.. :0)

HERE IS THE LATEST:
Little C had her 1 month appointment last week...She is 8lbs, 8oz. and is 21.5in long....Being born at 6lbs, 5oz. and 19.5in..we are sure making some progress....

Big C is doing well.....He is trying to decide what to be for Halloween..I think the last I heard it was going to be the Blue Power Ranger..(I'm sure it will change again) He is also letting J and I know what he wants for his B-day, and X-mas...We have tried to explain to him that those days are a couple months away, but you know how well that goes over..Little Children and Patience..the two words should never be used in the same sentence..

As for J and I, we are doing well...Enjoying every moment....It's funny how sometimes you can spend the whole day in the same house with someone, but it's not until you go to bed at night do you really get a chance to talk. Between children, dogs, yard work, laundry, cooking, cleaning, eating.....It's a Crazy Life..but a Good One!!!

TUMMY TIME

This week we are working on Tummy Time with Little C. Big C thinks it the funniest thing he has ever seen. It's so funny the way he is with Little C. He always has to know what she is doing. If she is sleeping he has to check on her, if she is eating he wants to feed her, if she is doing tummy time he has to talk with her. Don't get me wrong, I love that he has taken an interest in her. I just didn't realize how big/smart he was getting until we brought Little C home. One thing is certain....He loves his Little Sister..(for now.. :0)
