TUMMY TIME

This week we are working on Tummy Time with Little C. Big C thinks it the funniest thing he has ever seen. It's so funny the way he is with Little C. He always has to know what she is doing. If she is sleeping he has to check on her, if she is eating he wants to feed her, if she is doing tummy time he has to talk with her. Don't get me wrong, I love that he has taken an interest in her. I just didn't realize how big/smart he was getting until we brought Little C home. One thing is certain....He loves his Little Sister..(for now.. :0)

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY CASHTON!!

This weekend, good friends of J and I had a birthday party for there little one Cashton. We had such a great time!! Big C got one more chance to swim before the summer is over. He and J spent most of there time out by the pool. It was a little to hot to take Little C outside, so Aunt K and I stayed inside. Big C hasn't been to very many Birthday Parties, so this was a good experience for him. Before he couldn't understand why he wasn't getting presents, but now he understands...All we heard about last night was what he wanted for his Birthday Party...I don't think he understands how many days away his Birthday really is....He did however get to buy a toy since he was such a good boy...He is really into action guys right now...Batman, Spiderman, Power Rangers..We have all of their costumes...Attached below are a couple of pictures from the Birthday Party, and of Big C's newest costume...

DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN

It's amazing how time goes by so fast. Since I've been home for the summer, I've really gotten to take the time out to enjoy my family. Sometimes life swallows you up, and you forget to just stop and enjoy. A couple of days ago, a close family member said to me, "I wish I could do it all over again". I've been thinking about those words now for a couple of days and it makes me want to cry. Everyday that goes by the world changes. Someone that was once here, is no longer...Someone who wasn't here, steps into the world. It's a ride that we are all on.... There's no stopping it, and there's no second or third times to ride. One turn/ride is all we get. With that being said, here are the most recent pictures of our little ones. Look now, b/c tomorrow they will change..They will be one day older, one pound heavier, one day smarter...These pictures will someday turn back the ride for me........ even if it's only for a moment.

Much Love,

Carrot Cake!!!!!

Tonight "J" and I went with both "Little C, and Big C" to Papa J and Grandma T's house. One thing that I just learned about my father in law is... he makes the BEST Carrot Cake around. "J" and I have been together as a couple for almost 6 years now, and no one ever told me about this wonderful Carrot Cake. Wow..Talk about delicious...Lucky for me, he passed the recipe on to me...Not only did he give me his secret recipe, but he showed "Big C" just how to make it...

Attached below are Papa J and Big C making Mommy's favorite Carrot Cake...

THANKS FOR THE RECIPE PAPA J!!!!!
